CAPER NORAH HELPS TEAM NS TO ATLANTICS BRONZE

Jul. 06, 2025

CAPERS Academy prospect Norah MacDonald played a key role in helping Team Nova Scotia U15 Girls land an Atlantics Championship bronze on Prince
Edward Island today (Sunday).

Norah was part of the starting 11 as the team drew 1-1 with PEI then triumphed 4-2 on penalty kicks to land third place.

On Saturday the CAPERS midfielder, who is U14 but playing a year up which shows her high potential, scored a dramatic winner to clinch a 2-1 round robin win over PEI.

Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to seal a Final slot after the NS squad lost their opener 3-1 to New Brunswick before a 1-1 tie with Newfoundland.

Norah, though, had another excellent tournament for the province as her soccer development journey continues. Later today U15s Boys CAPERS centre-back Matthew Cormier will be in action in the Atlantics Final against New Brunswick in Halifax.

Meanwhile, back on PEI the island is represented by Regional Director of Soccer Development Iain King and Assistant Technical Director Kuvy Moodley who have coached the Team NS U15 Boys to the Final and also face New Brunswick as they go for gold.
